Professional Accomplishments
I have worked with Friedrich Iowa Realty since December 2019 and love serving the local community. Prior to being a Realtor I was in I.T. recruiting and management for over 20 years serving large Fortune 20 customers. In 2019 I decide to transfer my negotiation, marketing and client service skills to the real estate industry and am loving every minute. I continue to carefully listen to and understand my client’s ever-changing situations, market in the most beneficial ways, and negotiate the best outcome for each individual. It has always been my mission to work with my clients on an ongoing basis and not just for a single transaction. After finding a client their dream home, I then continue to offer my services by providing referrals for home-related services (plumbers, electricians, etc.), provide home valuations, help with real estate investment properties, and be a sounding board so that my clients can reap the reward of owning their own property. The most fulfilling part of my job is when I can help a client transition to their next home whether it be a move to a larger property or downsize to find something that is a better fit for their lifestyle. Fun Facts
My husband and I have been married for 25 years and are raising four wonderful children. I play the violin in the Central Iowa Symphony and love to walk and run, try out new recipes, and spend time traveling with my family as much as our schedule allows. My husband attended Iowa State and most of his extended family live somewhere in Iowa. We lived in Parker, Colorado for 13 years before moving to Ames in 2013.
Education
I grew up and went to high school in San Jose, CA and graduated from Whittier College in Southern California with a B.A. in Political Science.
Civic Volunteer and Activities
I’m currently the Vice President of the board supporting the Ames History Museum. I’m also a member of the Ames Orchestra International Festival Association (AIOFA) board, a member of the Friends of Iowa Strings board, and also volunteer for the annual United Way of Story County food drive.
